I bring my back-up camera with me everywhere I go. It gives me the chance to practice different perspectives. Especially framing. I love to frame within a frame. It challenges me to think differently, to look for reflections, to see the world through different eyes. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I took the picture above when I saw the opportunity to use the reflection from the french doors in our den. I had just finished taking some pictures of my cousin's adorable son and decided to experiment. It's not a super fab picture, but I like it. It's something different. Although, it's kinda eerie to see my one eye. I noticed in other pictures I do shoot with both eyes open sometimes. I guess that's my way of anticipating the next shot to take. Meh. It's fun.
